About me
Hamde Abu Rahma is a Palestinian photojournalist, author, and human rights activist from the occupied West Bank. Born into a community at the forefront of nonviolent resistance against Israeli land confiscation and the separation wall, Hamde chose the camera as his form of struggle, documenting the daily realities of life under occupation and transforming images into tools of truth and justice.
Through his lens, Hamde does more than document. He amplifies voices too often ignored, provides testimony that strengthens the struggle for accountability, and builds bridges of solidarity across borders. In every image, he insists on the humanity of Palestinians, making his art not just a record of suffering, but a force for justice, memory, and liberation.
