Uzbekistan is one of only two 'dual landlocked' countries in the world, and rail transportation is vital for the country economic development.
In 2020, in the face of the severe situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project team has overcome many difficulties in procurement, manufacturing and logistics. China National Technical IMP & EXP Corp delivered electric locomotives substantially ahead of schedule, giving strong support to the local economic recovery and establishing a capable and hard-working corporate image for itself in Uzbekistan.
